Credit card security flaw

Credit cards security flaw is revealed when the cards are used on the Internet. Hackers can easily get access to credit card information such as the account number, release date and CSC security number from online merchants or from handling physical credit cards.

Often it is the staff working for merchants or restaurants, who copy this information and then use the information to buy products on the internet. It is also quite common for hackers to access large company databases that keep the credit card information for their online store. This information is then used to buy products online or for other means of withdrawal.

Cryptocurrencies work differently than credit cards. Customers push money from their cryptocurrency account to a merchants account instead of handing over information to the merchant, for him to withdraw from it. Therefore hackers don’t have any information they can use to withdraw from cryptocurrency accounts.
